About The Walk-a-Thon
The St. Luke School Walk-a-Thon is a fun event that involves students of all ages. The students walk through River Forest with their classmates to raise money for tuition. The success of the fundraiser is based on students collecting pledges from family and friends who sponsor them. We are also fortunate to have the generous support of community businesses who also contribute to the success of the event.
The money raised at the Walk-a-Thon directly subsidizes each and every student’s tuition. The tuition paid covers only 83% of the cost to educate each student. This tuition ‘gap’ is filled by generous donors who support our fundraising efforts. Every dollar raised is important and directly benefits ALL of or students.
